The MOPARTS RACING Boxer Engine Centerlink allows you to build your own twin cylinder boxer-style engine, like in the video below. This center link, or casing, has a reed valve inlet and lets you mount two cylinders (at opposite angles) to your stock or Polini Speed Engine Piaggio/Vespa casings.
- You are going to have to weld two crankshafts together at 180 degree angles, or press-fit two crankshafts together.
- You will need two large Piaggio engine case halves; one fits the normal way, the other needs machining as you need to machine-away all the additional "meat" around the large case half. The video below explains this in more detail.
- You will need to adjust your subframe/engine cradle in order to create space to house the boxer engine.
